David Sifflet is the founder of Extra Butter and the operational architect behind its execution-first model.

A U.S. Navy veteran trained as a logistics specialist, Sifflet brings decades of real-world experience in supply chain management, restaurant operations, and concept development to every aspect of the brand. Long before launching Extra Butter, he built, scaled, and exited multiple successful restaurant concepts across California — spanning seafood, barbecue, pizza, and dessert formats.

That background shaped Extra Butter’s foundation.

Rather than relying on novelty or trend cycles, Sifflet designed Extra Butter as a system: compact footprints, streamlined menus, disciplined sourcing, and operational clarity that performs under pressure. Every decision — from food prep to packaging to point-of-sale technology — was engineered to reduce friction, control costs, and improve consistency.

Sifflet personally designed Extra Butter’s next-generation POS workflow, food preparation methodology, and custom packaging systems — allowing locations to serve fresher food faster, with fewer steps and less labor complexity. The result is shorter wait times, higher throughput, and a more reliable guest experience.

His decades-long relationships with seafood suppliers and global vendors give Extra Butter a structural advantage — maintaining product quality and pricing stability even as competitors face rising costs and inconsistent supply.
